Background
Thirsty Thursday launched in November 2015 and, so far, over 300 businesses have taken part and are now starting to see the results of meeting like-minded individuals.
In June 2015, Thirsty Thursday was shortlisted for a prestigious business, coming in the top three of the Hambleton Business Awards’ ‘Hambleton Champion’ category beating off competition from 10 other local organisations.
In 2016, Thirsty Thursday was a winner at the Hambleton Business Awards as Hambleton Champion, they were also a finalist in the final Hambleton Business Awards in 2023 as part of the Market Town Ambassador category.
As well as helping businesses from around the area meet one another and share plans and ideas, Thirsty Thursday encourages attendees to support local communities and campaigns, such as raising funds for two business park defibrillators and supporting our local Fire sService.
